The history of MoV:
Warning: parts of the text below are outdated!
The MoV clanfounders, and a lot of the old MoV members, actually originate from 9th CMC clan.
There, a lot of the bf42 and bfv players were not satisfied with how things went, so they came up with the idea of breaking of the bf42 and bfv sections and founding their own clan.
And thus MoV was founded on the 4th of July 2004.
The lay-out of our site and forums have been updated a few times since we were founded.
Since bf2 we have new policies, because of old problems with recruits and payments.
From now on every new member has to pay for the 22 men bf2 MoV private and the 32 men MoV Teamspeak.
Further, since bf2 we have reorganised the entire clan.
Last we have new ranks and a minimum age of 14 years.
The latest change; for Bf2 we only play 'only infantry' (on Clanbase and on trainings).
Experiencing up and downs (currently in an up ;) ), MoV clan has always been (and still is) a clan for friends, fun gaming and teamwork.
We are mostly a Battlefield clan, we played bf42 and bfv.
Bf2 is our main game right now but we are starting up a Bf2142 section, seeking members for both sections.
Although we play for fun we take our clan very serious.
Further, we play in the Clanbase ladder.
If you think you are a man of valour and you want to play friendly and fun games with us, then don’t hesitate to join us.

Server rental
Since a few months MoV possesses a server.
Server key feautures:
-2x Intel Quad core
-4GB memory
-2x 73GB 15.000 rpm harddisks hot swapable, raid 1 mirrored, so effective space will be 73GB, and a backup if 1 disk will fail, if it fails it will keep running
-2x powersupply for the same reasons.
On this server we host our own gaming servers but we are also interested in renting to others.
We do not have a price list, so if you are interested please come to our forum and specify your needs.
We will then decide on a certain price.
But we can almost garantuee you we are cheaper than the official companies (for obvious reasons).
The server is located in the Netherlands.

3rd MoV meeting!
Sorry for not posting any news for such a long time.
As everybody knows, the 3rd MoV meeting is being organised right now and is already in an advanced state of being arranged :).
Im happy to see a meeting again in the full sence of the word.
Gaming news as well. Battlefield Heroes will be released this summer.
Most of us will check it out, hopefully it can bring back a little life in the clan again.
The server also needs an update.
There is no longer a Bf2 server running but there is a BfV (PoE mod) server running.
As always, just connect with the general IP (89.188.20.26) and the game will automatically find the right port.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
First of all Id like to wish you all a happy new year with lots of good health.
Sadly the vacation is almost over again.
But we have very good news as well! Since two days our server is officially online! =D
Currently we run CS 1.6, Forgotten Hope and Warsow. All publics.
In the future were probably going to add other games and we will probably rent servers as well.

MoV server
This was one of those discussions which was started since about the clan was founded and continued to this day.
Finally now we are able to buy our own real server :D.
The money problems are solved, now its just checking one out, buying it and placing it.
Well keep you posted.

New game sections + new member
Long time since theres some news again.
We have a new bloke in the team, RealBunnyStyle. Everybody give him a warm welcome.
Furthermore the discussions about new game sections are allready in a nice stage.
One new game has allready been chosen: Counter Strike 1.6.
We are seeking recruits for this game as well.
The arranger of the 2nd MoV meeting (which will take place somewhere this summer) is Spinelessthug.
So if you have any questions or suggestions contact him.
He is still quite busy with school right now so actively organising will begin later.
And in the latest CB war we got our ass kicked by a French team, it reminds me of one of the Monty Python's scenes ("I fart in your general direction.") ;).
